Fuller's celebrates ales in ad campaign

Fuller’s is to feature nine of its bottled ale brands in a press and poster advertising campaign.

Each beer will appear against a backdrop influenced by its colour and will run on a number of high-profile, backlit poster sites in London for two weeks from November 30.

Strip ads will appear in national quality newspapers over the next three weekends.

John Roberts, managing director of Fuller’s Beer Co, said: “This is the first time we have highlighted our range in this way, and we hope to show the breadth of beer styles you can get in the range.

“Christmas is the perfect time to highlight this variety, as many people like to stock up to treat friends and family when they visit during the festive period.”

The full range in the ads is 1845, Chiswick, Discovery, ESB, Golden Pride, London Porter, London Pride, Organic Honey Dew and Vintage Ale.

Looking back to look forward

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories. Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
