Independent launches loyalty scheme

11 December, 2009

Leeds-based independent wine merchant Latitude is launching a loyalty card scheme to reward its regular customers.

The card will give shoppers a 10% discount on the amount spent across 11 wine bottles, to be redeemed on the twelfth purchase.

“Depending on what you buy over the 11 bottles this could mean your twelfth purchase is absolutely free,” said owner Chris Hill.

All customers need to do is get their card stamped every time they buy something.

"We want to reward all our customers - whether they buy one bottle of wine once a week or several at a time – they are all incredibly important to us and this is our way of saying thank you for their custom," Hill added.

The loyalty cards will be available to pick up in-store from this month, with the scheme officially launching in the new year.

English wine: a happy harvest for Christmas

All across England and Wales, vineyards are being harvested. Down winding country lanes come armies of welly-wearing conscripts wielding secateurs and buckets, ready to reap the rewards of our vines.
