Bottoms Up and Threshers names live on

08 January, 2010

The rights to former First Quench trading names, including Threshers and Victoria Wine, have been bought.

The chain’s administrator, KPMG, has finalised a deal with SEP Properties, a Staffordshire business which has already picked up some First Quench shops.

The sale also includes The Local and Bottoms Up, but not Haddows. According to reports, the Bottoms Up name will be used to rebrand SEP’s off-licence businesses while Threshers will be used for online trading.

It is understood that the new Bottoms Up stores will be aimed at the Majestic end of the drinks market.
