The Famous Grouse is celebrating its 20 year link-up with Scottish rugby by helping fans get into the spirit of the Six Nations games at Murrayfield.
The Maxxium-owned brand will be supporting the national side during the Six Nations championship as the official spirit of Scottish rugby.
Fans heading to Murrayfield for the France game on February 7 and the England game on March 13 will have a chance to soak up the pre-game party atmosphere in the Famous Grouse Stadium – a purpose built marquee in the grounds of Murrayfield.
As supporters walk through the tunnel at the marquee’s entrance they will be greeted by clapping and cheering, and inside the marquee mock stands will be packed with crowds of spectators.
Ceilidh band Kilter will perform “rousing rugby anthems and popular Scottish classics”, according to Maxxium, and adults will be offered a complimentary serve of The Famous Grouse mixed with Appletiser, ginger beer or lemonade.
Brand manager Linda Sooprayen said: “We are extremely proud of our association with the national rugby team, which is one of the most iconic partnerships in sport. We are delighted that we have been involved for 20 years and hope to reward Scotland’s loyal fans.”
