l Ardbeg is marking the ?10th birthday of its followerís society, the Ardbeg Committee, with a year of celebrations. Festivities will include a digital campaign and the launch of a limited edition 53.7% abv whisky called Ardbeg Rollercoaster, which will be available exclusively to the 50,000 committee members (rrp £50).

The Whyte & Mackay Premier League darts competition will be touring the country over the next 14 weeks. This year the Scotch distiller has teamed up Everyman, with proceeds from the sale of special tour? T-shirts being donated to the cancer charity.

Bruichladdich distillery has re?installed Scotlandís oldest pot still, which was commissioned in 1880 for the Harvey Brothersí purpose-built Islay distillery.

Hofmeister may need more than the bear essentials to succeed

So, George The Bear is back. Itís hard for some of us oldies to fathom, but there are those under, say, 40 who canít actually remember Hofmeister and feel the cultural jolt supplied by the return of both the bear and the beer whose marketing campaigns it used to front.
