Volcano halts Madeira trade tasting

19 April, 2010

A Madeira tasting scheduled to take place in Edinburgh tomorrow (April 20) has been cancelled because of the problematic situation with international air travel.

The event, organised by Vinho Madeira, will now take place on May 17 at the boardrooms of the national Museum of Scotland in Chambers Street.

An open session tasting will run from 11am to 5pm along with two special masterclass sessions hosted by Rose Murray Brown MW. The wine retailers’ session takes place from 8pm until 9.30pm.
