Ehrmanns is ready for new challenges

Ehrmanns has moved to new premises in Londonís Primrose Hill after 22 years in Highbury and installed a new management team.

Hugo Campbell is now managing director, with Kim Wilson off-trade sales?director, Joy Edmondson buying director and Lenke Kiss financial controller. Peter Dauthieu remains as chairman.

Ehrmanns has introduced a number of new agencies, including Chilensis from VIA Wine, Cava agency Juve & Camps, Stefano Girelli from Italy and Wineco from Marlborough, which is the source of Ehrmannsí own-brand Clearwater Bay.

ďWe have the foundations to succeed in what will be tough, but hopefully rewarding, times for our customers, suppliers and ourselves,Ē said Campbell.

Hofmeister may need more than the bear essentials to succeed

So, George The Bear is back. Itís hard for some of us oldies to fathom, but there are those under, say, 40 who canít actually remember Hofmeister and feel the cultural jolt supplied by the return of both the bear and the beer whose marketing campaigns it used to front.
