Sacred Spirits Gin will be joined at Distil by new Sacred Spirits Vodka, produced at Ian Hart’s microdistillery in Highgate, north London. Sacred Gin contains 12 botanicals, including Boswellia sacra – a type of frankincense – from which the brand name is derived. The vodka is produced in the same way and flavoured with spices cubeb, nutmeg and frankincense. Hart will be at the show to introduce mixologists to his new range of botanical distillates and give them the opportunity to create their own bespoke gins. Stand C31??Cognac producer ABK6 will be launching its range of ABK6 Single Estate Cognacs. The three-strong range encompasses Pure Single VS, Grand Cru VSOP and Family Reserve XO. Stand B22?Global Premium Brands SA will celebrate the launch of super-premium Gin Mare with an on-stand competition to identify its signature Mediterranean botanicals.
Visitors’ correct answers will be entered into a draw to win a weekend for two in Barcelona, incorporating a visit to Gin Mare’s distillery. The winner will be announced on May 20 at stand C70.
Burlington Drinks will showcase a range of value spirits designed to meet entry-level price in the UK and internationally. Additions to the range include 35% abv Carcelli Black Sambuca, which has an infusion of liquorice to give a twist to the traditional Italian aniseed liqueur base. New packaging will be unveiled for the Ron Calados white and dark rums, as well as Aberdour Piper Scotch Whisky. The full existing range will be available to taste. Stand A32??Hayman Distillers will launch Hayman’s Sloe Gin, made with wild English sloe berries. Hayman’s will also showcase other gins in its portfolio, including Hayman’s London Dry Gin, Hayman’s Old Tom Gin, and Hayman’s 1820 Gin Liqueur. Stand A32??The subject of an upcoming documentary film – How to Re-Establish a Vodka Empire – Zorokovich 1917 Vodka was recently revived by the great-grandson of the original distiller, nearly 100 years after the Ukrainian distillery was seized by the Bolsheviks. Documentary creator Optimistic Productions will celebrate the vodka’s heritage at its stand, which will be decorated in manuscript pages “reflecting the journey of discovery that led Dan Edelstyn to his great-grandfather’s distillery”. Visitors will be able to sample this revived vodka brand while watching re-enactments of the Bolshevik Revolution. Stand A20??Casa Armando Guillermo Prieto will showcase its range of Kosher-certified Mezcal including Zignum Reposado, Zignum Platinum, El Senorio Joven, El Senorio Reposado, and El Senorio Extra Reposado. Stand A2??A range of POS materials aimed at both off and on-trade will be on display at Bourbon Communications’ stand, including bottle coolers, ice buckets, menu holders, stirrers and pitchers, all of which can be branded with a company’s or retailer’s name. A new addition to the collection is the Flower Bottle Cooler, incorporating holders for a bottle and stemmed glasses. Stand C72??Sputnik vodka will be unveiling its revamped look. The portfolio also includes a premium Malbec Spirit, which is 100% natural and made from fermented distilled Malbec grapes.
