Doritos will makes someone a star

A new Doritos initiative is asking amateur filmmakers to make their own Doritos ad, with the winner picking up £200,000 and “30 seconds of fame”.

The winner of the on-pack promotion, entitled King of Ads, will air on national TV throughout June and July, with the shortlisted ads featuring on Channel 4 shows in June.

The campaign will be supported by the introduction of new Watch it, Love it, Share it packs in May. All Doritos products will carry the promotion.

English wine: a happy harvest for Christmas

All across England and Wales, vineyards are being harvested. Down winding country lanes come armies of welly-wearing conscripts wielding secateurs and buckets, ready to reap the rewards of our vines. Happily they come, their cheeks ruddy with pride. Half an hour later they’re crawling over muddy clods with lacerated hands, drenched in claggy juice and cold sweat, as if ploughing through an endurance race.
