Imperial Tobacco upweights pack sizes
Published:  05 March, 2010

Imperial Tobacco has increased the weight of Gold Leaf’s two variants in an effort to offer smokers better value for money.

From this month the roll-your-own tobacco brand will be available in a 12.5g box, which has been increased from 11.5g, and a 25g pouch, up from 23g.

Both packs’ rrps will remain the same – £2.71 for the 12.5g box and £5.32 for the 25g pouch.

Brand manager Michael McAdam said: “By upweighting Gold Leaf packs, Imperial Tobacco has recognised that more adult smokers are

ooking for better value.” ?
