Everywine.co.uk offers World Cup wines

Booths’ internet wine company everywine.co.uk has introduced three limited edition cases of wine to celebrate the 2010 World Cup.

Said to “represent the best wine-producing nations in the company”, each £59.99 case of six wines includes two whites, two reds, a rosé and sparkling wine.

In the line-up is the Americas case, with wines from Argentina, Chile and the US; the European case, with wines from France, Germany and an English fizz from Chapel Down; and the Rest of the World case, featuring wines from Autralia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Stephen Dowd, operations director of everywine.co.uk, said: “Due to our range we have been able to create these special mixed cases, enabling customers to try the more unusual and classic wines.”

English wine: a happy harvest for Christmas

All across England and Wales, vineyards are being harvested. Down winding country lanes come armies of welly-wearing conscripts wielding secateurs and buckets, ready to reap the rewards of our vines. Happily they come, their cheeks ruddy with pride.
