l Isle of Skye blended Scotch whisky is offering consumers the chance to win a VIP day at the William Hill Gold Cup race meeting and an overnight stay.

The competition will run via a promotion on presentation boxes of Isle of Skye 8 Year Old, which will direct consumers to the brand’s new website – isleofskyewhisky.com.

Isle of Arran Distillers is marking its 15th anniversary with the launch of a special bottling produced from three ex-Bourbon barrels from 1995, hand-selected by Arran’s master distiller James MacTaggart. It will be sold at the distillery’s visitor centre.

Vladviar vodka has whisked four semi-finalists off to Cannes to compete in the final of the Vladivar Win a Million promotion. The four hopefuls battled against each other in a blackjack challenge at the Les Princes casino. The winner, Dimitra Robinson from Sheffield, went on to play for the chance to win £1 million and came away with £3,000.

Toorank is reducing its carbon footprint by using recyclable pouches for its Petrov vodka. The new eco refill pack holds 35cl and has a spout that twists open and can be resealed. It uses up to 90% less packaging waste than glass bottles and will sell in Asda.

Maxxium UK is teaming up with Asda to launch a World Cup themed multi-pack of Jim Beam & Cola. The 12x33cl can pack has an rrp of £21.
