Bushmills harks back to 1608 days?

08 January, 2010

Diageo GB has updated the bottle and label design for its Bushmills Black Bush Irish whiskey.

The redesign draws inspiration from the brandís 1608 heritage Ė the year the Bushmills area received its original licence to distil Ė embossed on the taller, straighter bottle.

Black Bush is positioned as a premium step-up from Bushmills Original. It combines a high proportion of malt whiskey matured in former oloroso sherry casks, with batch-distilled grain whiskey.

What makes wine special

Reaching the 50th instalment of Hemmingís Way is hardly the biggest milestone, but I donít need much of an excuse to pour myself a glass of champagne before getting dressed. Itís a better reason than I had for all 49 other instalments, anyway. Not that that stopped me.
