Bushmills harks back to 1608 days?

08 January, 2010

Diageo GB has updated the bottle and label design for its Bushmills Black Bush Irish whiskey.

The redesign draws inspiration from the brand’s 1608 heritage – the year the Bushmills area received its original licence to distil – embossed on the taller, straighter bottle.

Black Bush is positioned as a premium step-up from Bushmills Original. It combines a high proportion of malt whiskey matured in former oloroso sherry casks, with batch-distilled grain whiskey.

Welcoming the wine rookie

It’s all true. Wine writers loaf around in a state of partial inebriation and partial undress, bitching about having to taste free wine all day and using recondite words like malolactic, terroir and recondite.
