CWF launches Italian sparkler

Continental Wine & Food is distributing Berlucchi Cuvée for the first time in the UK.

The Italian metodo classico sparkling wine was first produced in 1961 and is available in two styles: Berlucchi Cuveé Imperiale Brut and Berlucchi Cuveé Imperiale Max Rosé.

CWF marketing manager Vicky Lee said she was confident UK consumers were ready to step up from Prosecco – a brand that has “captured their hearts”.

ee added: “Champagne sales in December increased 16% on the previous year, a level of growth that offers opportunity for new brands to come into the sparkling wines arena.” The wines have an rrp of £11.99.
