Tesco puts Finest centre stage to mark 10 years

02 April, 2010

Tesco is merchandising all 77 of its Finest wines in a single display for the first time as the premium own-label celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Two bays will be devoted to Finest, which will be a central focus of the retailer’s Spring Festival which launches on April 6 and runs for four weeks.

Wine category manager Claire Lorains said: “Finest is absolutely at the heart of our category and the 10th anniversary provides a wonderful opportunity to demonstrate the quality and diversity of the range. Spring Festival maximises the emphasis on wine in stores, so positioning Finest with extra visibility at the centre of the festival is a natural fit.”?The festival will also see the launch of a limited-edition range of “style” wines: Jam Pot, an Australian Cabernet/Merlot; Citrus Squeezer, a Vin de Pays de Gascogne Colombard; Summer Pudding, a Chilean Merlot rosé; and Cut Grass, a New Zealand Sauvignon.
