Revenue increased from £45.4 million to £49.4 million, with profits of £3.9 million. Beer volumes were 3% ahead of the same period in 2008.
London Pride was the main driver of growth and the company said it had managed to increase its advertising presence for the brand despite spending less in 2009, because of depressed advertising rates recently. The brewer is now also featuring nine of its bottled ale brands in a press and poster advertising campaign.
John Roberts, managing director of the Fullerís Beer Company, said: ďThis is the first time we have highlighted our range in this way, and we hope to show the breadth of beer styles in the range.Ē?The full range in the ads is 1845, Chiswick, ESB, London Porter, London Pride, Organic Honey Dew, Golden Pride, Discovery and Vintage Ale.
