Morgenrot adds Kaiserdom beers

06 July, 2010

Drinks importer Morgenrot is to launch a four-strong range of German beers in the UK market.

The Kaiserdom range comes from the brewery of the same name in Bamberg in the Franconia region.

It will join a fast-growing Morgenrot beer range which also includes Krombacher, Quilmes, Alhambra and Cruzcampo.

The Kaiserdom bottled beer range comprises a pilsener-style lager at 4.8% abv, and three at 4.7% abv: a Munich-style helles, a wheat beer and a dunkel, or dark, beer.

“The range exemplifies Germany’s illustrious brewing traditions," said Morgenrot senior national account manager Graham Archibald.

“We feel the range’s heritage authenticity and superior taste profiles will see plenty of interest from the UK off-trade.”
