Foxdenton pushes gin

Buckinghamshire-based Foxdenton Estate has begun a sales push for its London dry gin.

The 48% abv brand was introduced by the company – which has previously stuck to fruit gins – in response to what it called the “dumbing down” of the spirit.

Director Nick Radclyffe said: “We were fed up with abominations masquerading as gins appearing on a regular basis so we thought we would do something about it.”?Produced by London-based Thames Distillers, it is listed by Lea & Sandeman and the Drink Shop with an rrp of £23.40.

Hofmeister may need more than the bear essentials to succeed
