Chris Poole has been appointed customer services director of Diageo GB. His role will involve working with customers to improve on-shelf visibility, reducing costs through supply chain inventory management and ďlooking for innovative ways for Diageo and customers to work togetherĒ.
Islay distillery Bruichladdich has been named Environmentally Aware Supplier of the Year in Scottish Farmer magazine. The award was made in recognition of the distillerís organic single malt and its use of modern barley varieties from 23 Scottish farms, including 14 on Islay itself.
