Update for Kronenbourg pack

Heineken UK is to update the packaging for its Kronenbourg 1664 lager brand.

The new-look adopts the global design for the brand to give it what Heineken UK called a “Gallic, edgy and more modern look".

The relaunch forms part of a marketing push by the brand which includes a new TV and press campaign from October.

The redesign includes a tweak to the reference to an in-can widget in the lager, changing it from Dynamo Systeme to Draught Systeme.

Senior brand manager Lucas Bergmans said: “The premium lager category remains in growth and the new look for Kronenbourg within the off-trade aims to bring more shoppers’ attentions to the brand.”

English wine: a happy harvest for Christmas

All across England and Wales, vineyards are being harvested. Down winding country lanes come armies of welly-wearing conscripts wielding secateurs and buckets, ready to reap the rewards of our vines. Happily they come, their cheeks ruddy with pride. Half an hour later they’re crawling over muddy clods with lacerated hands, drenched in claggy juice and cold sweat, as if ploughing through an endurance race.
