Connoisseur to take on Sidewood

Connoisseur Estates has been appointed to handle wines from premium Adelaide Hills producer Sidewood Estate.

The wines are made in the South Australian region by Tash Mooney, owner of Barossaís Fox Gordon wines, and a former winemaker with Penfolds, Lindemans and Barossa Valley Estate.

Sidewood is a 120ha property owned by Owen and Cassandra Inglis.

Wokingham-based Connoisseur is importing varietal Pinot Gris 2009, Chardonnay 2009 Sauvignon Blanc 2009, Shiraz 2007, and Reserve Syrah 2008.

The wines are expected to retail in the £12 to £15 price bracket.
