The new-look packaging features an illustration of a well which features in the legend on which the drink is based.
In 1475, it is said that the Earl of Atholl lured the rebel Iain Macdonald to a well filled with honey, oatmeal and whisky, giving the earl the opportunity to capture him as he drank.
G&M joint managing director Michael Urquhart said: “Dunkeld Atholl Brose is a product with a fascinating history.
“It has a wide appeal and can be enjoyed all year round, either on its own or as the base for a cocktail.
“We’re hoping this rebrand will encourage younger consumers to discover this versatile drink.”
A signature cocktail has been created. The Highland Mojito involves shaking the liqueur with mint leaves, sugar syrup and lime, and topping with soda water.
Dunkeld Atholl Brose is bottled at 35% in 50cl bottles and has an rrp of £18.99.
