Innis & Gunn sets up sales company

26 July, 2010

Innis & Gunn is to take distribution of its speciality bottled beers in-house from August 1.

Its products have previously been handled by Marston’s and – before its acquisition by the Midlands brewer – Refresh UK.

Crawford Sinclair, who worked on Innis & Gun at both Marrton’s and Refresh, will head the news sales, marketing and distribution arm as UK director of sales.

Innis & Gunn managing director Dougal Sharp said the move would allow it to achieve its potential by “working more closely with UK customers to deliver consumer-focused growth strategies”.

Sinclair said: “The business’ track record over the last seven years has been phenomenal and I am focused on ensuring that this hard-won success continues.”
