Ten Green Bottles opens first wine shop

10 August, 2010

Ten Green Bottles, the Sussex online wine merchant and wholesaler, makes its first foray into the off-trade this month.

The company is opening a store in Brighton, called The Wine Shop & Tasting Room, which will feature 200 wines sourced direct from producers.

Customers will be able to buy a bottle to take away, open up and enjoy at the bar, dining table or lounge, or have a taste from the many bottles available by the glass, tasting sample, or carafe.

Founding partner Simon Broad said: “This venture gives us the chance to share our love of wine and food with our customers face to face, and to showcase little known gems from some of the forgotten wine regions of the world, alongside old favourites.”
