The new wine is being listed by Sainsbury’s from September and Asda a month later, and will have an rrp of £7.49.
The wine joins a range that includes Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, and the whole portfolio is featured in a national sampling campaign being run in conjunction with the Woodland Trust.
Redwood Creek is donating 25p to the charity from each promotional bottle of the new wine sold.
The Pinot Noir is made using fruit from the Lodi, Delta and San Joaquin Valley regions of northern California.
Redwood Creek was launched in 2009 and is aimed at male wine drinkers.
It was identified by Gallo earlier this year as one of five focus brands for future investment.
