WRBM and Agile Media are already strongly linked and will continue to publish OLN and Harpers Wine & Spirit as sister publications, working jointly on various initiatives.
Drinks group executive director Andrew Reed said: “The off-licence market has changed significantly over the past five years.
“The recent refocusing of the high street following the demise of First Quench is just one example of this, and we need to recognise that.
“By moving OLN to Agile, under licence, it gives the magazine the opportunity to serve its market effectively, using a new and sustainable business model.” He added: “There is a clear differentiation between OLN and Harpers and by licensing OLN to Agile we can continue with this strategy for the benefit of the industry.
“OLN’s current editorial and advertising teams will remain unchanged, so as far as the readers are concerned it is very much business as usual.”
