Marstonís has said it traded in line with expectatios in the year to October 2, ahead of the formal announcement of its results in December.

The pubs and brewing company experienced ďimproving trendsĒ in each of its trading divisions.

Own-brewed ale volumes were slightly lower than the previous year, but continued to significantly out-perform the UK beer market, Marstonís said.

In a trading statement, the company said: ďWe have seen improving trends in each division and made good progress in implementing our strategy.Ē
