Cider maker launches apple juice

12 October, 2010

Aspall has introduced 100% Pressed English Apple Juice following a successful trial in around 100 south east supermarkets earlier this year.

The product has an RRP of £1.89 per 1-litre bottle and uses a blend of sweet English Cox and sharp English Bramley, creating a “fresh, natural nose with a crisp sweet taste and dry notes”, according to the family cider business.

Aspall commercial director Geoff Bradman said: “We have supplied apple juice to the trade for over 40 years and pioneered apple juice distribution 20 years ago.

“Offering an alternative to the plethora of imported products, our new apple juice is made from 100% pressed English apples to provide the best quality taste possible. Sales of the juice have already exceeded all expectations and our overall business continues to grow.”
