The ayes have it in new McEwan’s ad

15 October, 2010

McEwan’s has launched a TV advertising campaign focusing on its Scottish roots.

The TV push is part of a marketing drive across the off and on-trade in Scotland that uses the word “aye” as its message.

A spokeswoman said: “The TV ad shows a man walking into a pub and being greeted by the barmaid with a pint of McEwan’s and an ‘aye’. Through various scenes it shows how ‘aye’ is used in different scenarios and finishes with the man supping his pint to an ‘aye’ from his friends and himself as two young ladies walk into the pub.”?The campaign will be backed by nationwide posters and advertising. To mark the launch, McEwan’s is distributing a limited edition price-marked pack of McEwan’s Export in the wholesale channel, set at £4.25 for four 50cl cans.
