Tuborg bottle multipacks recalled

02 November, 2010

Carlsberg UK is recalling some of its 27.5cl bottles of Tuborg lager that are sold in multipacks, because the product might contain small pieces of glass.

The Food Standards Agency has issued a product recall information notice on eight-packs with lot codes B0260N A, B0261N A, B0262N A, B0260N B, B0261N B and B0262N B.

The recall also affects 15-packs with the codes B0260N A, B0261N A, B0262N A, B0260N B, B0261N B, B0262N B.

The lot code is printed on the label on the back of the bottle.

Product recall notices have been shown in stores that sell the product, explaining why the product has been recalled and how customers can get a full refund.

Carlsberg UK will place ads in the national press today.

No other Carlsberg UK products are known to be affected.
