Tim Atkin MW and Olly Smith have left the Wine Gang, the collective of wine writers which also includes Anthony Rose, Joanna Simon and Tom Cannavan.

Wing Gang subscribers pay a £20 annual fee and can access detailed reviews updated monthly by gang members.

It’s a real buzz to know I’ll be working with such great people on a fantastic concept that has lots of exciting plans for 2011.”?Atkin and Smith left the group because of other commitments. Smith said he was sorry to be leaving and added: “There is talk of me working with the Wine Gang next year on events.”
