Frapin releases exclusive Cognac

Cognac house Frapin has launched 20 Year Old Château de Fontpinot Millésimé 1989.

The spirit was exclusively harvested, distilled, aged, blended and bottled at the estate in the heart of the Frapin family’s Grande Champagne vineyards.

The Cognac comes in a Charentes-style 35cl bottle in a leather carrying case, with an abv of 41.3%.

The 2,500 limited edition bottles are expected to retail at around £72 each.

Rosé tinted glasses

I was asked recently what I thought the biggest change had been in wine fashion in the past five years. My answer was unequivocal: sales of pink wines. From being a niche that expanded and contracted with the sunshine, rosé has subtly but steadily become a stalwart of many merchants’ ranges, with Provence firmly at the top and asked for by name.
