RosÚ company embraces world

12 January, 2007

Eight rosÚ wines produced in five different countries have been launched under one brand for the first time.

HwCg has developed the Real RosÚ Company, which features wines from France, Chile, Australia, South Africa and Italy.

The range, which has two quality levels - dual varietal wines at ú4.99 and single varietal wines at ú6.99 - has been developed to allow consumers to explore rosÚ s from around the world under the banner of one brand.

Henry John, marketing manager at HwCg, said: "Applying a similar strategy to that of Blason de Bourgogne, we aim to provide consistent quality to build trust and loyalty, which will allow consumers to buy into the brand and experiment with rosÚs from countries they may normally overlook."

Tesco has already agreed to stock the brand's Pink Zinfandel from March and HwCg is seeking other retailers to sell Real RosÚ Company wines, which are said to be drier in style than other branded rosÚs.
