Alizé in magazine sponsorship deal

Cognac-based spirit Alizé has struck a sponsorship deal with rap magazine Hip Hop Connection.

In a move to raise the brand profile of Alizé Bleu in the urban music scene, 25,000 Out of the Bleu CDs will run on the front cover of the February issue of Hip Hop Connection.

"The Alizé brand already has very strong links with the US and UK hip-hop scene, and has also been immortalised in songs by P Diddy, Missy Elliot, Jay Z and Snoop Dogg - it's a popular choice among urban trendsetters," a spokeswoman said.

A limited edition Alizé Rosé bottle, covered in Swarovski crystals, has been launched for Valentine's Day. Each bottle takes up to 100 man hours to create.
