Artois gets arty with advertising

InBev UK has launched its biggest outdoor campaign for Peeterman Artois and launched a short documentary film competition to promote Stella Artois.

The Peeterman Artois poster push will take place in London, Manchester and Glasgow to support the 4 per cent abv lager, which recently launched in the off-trade.

Marketing manager James Watson said: "We are highlighting the fact that Peeterman Artois offers something new and different for lager drinkers."

The Stella Artois short film competition, run with Channel Four and film festival Britdoc, asks aspiring film makers to create a film around the theme "adventures in recycling".

Four winners will get the chance to broadcast their movie in Channel 4's Three Minute Wonder slot in July and on the Studio Artois website.

English wine: a happy harvest for Christmas

All across England and Wales, vineyards are being harvested. Down winding country lanes come armies of welly-wearing conscripts wielding secateurs and buckets, ready to reap the rewards of our vines. Happily they come, their cheeks ruddy with pride. Half an hour later they’re crawling over muddy clods with lacerated hands, drenched in claggy juice and cold sweat, as if ploughing through an endurance race.
