Scottish & Newcastle UK has launched a series of radio ads for Strongbow, to back the brand's Total First Pint Refreshment TV campaign. The radio ads will run nationally for three months, and are part of a £27 million investment in marketing Strongbow this year.
Daniel Thwaites has redesigned its consumer website to make it easier to navigate and give it a more contemporary feel. The site includes tasting notes for the whole Thwaites portfolio, as well as a history of the company, competitions, promotions and a "view from the north", in which key figures from Thwaites give their views on the latest issues affecting the industry.
This year's Great British Beer Festival will be held at Earls Court on Aug 7-11, and will feature more than 700 beers from microbreweries to large regional breweries. A range of ciders and perries from independent producers will also be on show.
