Cornish Rattler is a 6 per cent abv cloudy cider which has been in St Austell pubs since 2004, and is now going into bottles for the first time.
Joe Healey, 20, and his brother Sam, 21, spent four years developing the cider at the Cornish Cyder Farm in Penhallow, near Truro, which is owned by their father. They designed it to rival lagers, RTDs and more traditional ciders.
Joe said: "Cornish Rattler is very different from the other ciders that we produce and the big name brands sold in most pubs because we purposely set out to create a new cloudy cider that would appeal to a new generation of cider drinkers."
Cornish Rattler is named after an old-fashioned variety of Cornish apples used in the blend. All apples in the cider are grown on the Cornish Cyder Farm. The cider, which officially launches today, comes in 50cl bottles priced at ú1.99.
