Well-dressed promotion for WKD

WKD and clothing retailer USC are launching an £8 million on-pack promotion giving instant discount on major clothing brands.

The 1.5 million vouchers give shoppers £5 off any purchase in a USC store. The promotion also features a free prize draw with the chance to win a makeover worth £1,000, a year's supply of WKD and a £500 shopping spree with a USC fashion stylist.

Karen Salters, marketing director of Beverage Brands, said: "The high-value nature of the promotion will reward brand loyalty and generate repeat purchases of WKD in the coming months — so retailers need to gear up with adequate stocks to cope with increased demand ."

Rosé tinted glasses

I was asked recently what I thought the biggest change had been in wine fashion in the past five years. My answer was unequivocal: sales of pink wines. From being a niche that expanded and contracted with the sunshine, rosé has subtly but steadily become a stalwart of many merchants’ ranges, with Provence firmly at the top and asked for by name.
