Single malt goes into vintage range

09 March, 2007

Inver House Distillers is relaunching its Balblair single malt as a vintage range.

The distiller has moved away from traditional age descriptions usually used in the category in favour of†hand-picked years that represent the best the whisky has to offer. Three vintages have been chosen - 1979 (rrp £84.99), 1989 (rrp £39.95) and 1997 (£27.99).

The range has been repackaged in a pe bble-shaped bottle .

Each vintage is presented in a display box featuring images of the distillery's surrounding countryside.
