Chains rewarded for performance

Bargain Booze and Wine Cellar each scooped two awards at HIM's SOLTrack Specialist Off-licence Awards.

Wine Cellar won the accolade of Best Impulse Retailer at the ceremony on April 27 and was also clear winner of the Best Services Retailer award, with 18 per cent of people interviewed saying they would mak e use of the services offered in-store.

Bargain Booze scooped the Greatest Consumer Loyalty award as 85 per cent of interviewees said that Bargain Booze was their regular off-licence. It also won the Best Customer Service award.

Thresher was named Best Impulse Retailer, with 63 per cent of customers taking note of in-store promotions and 54 per cent buying products on promotion.

Award results were based on interviews with 2,400 shoppers outside 154 specialist drinks shops.
