La crème de la crème of Cassis

OLN has teamed up with Emporia Brands to offer one lucky reader a case of six bottles of Gabriel Boudier Crème de Cassis de Dijon.

Gabriel Boudier has been making fruit liqueurs in Dijon since 1874. The company is famous for the quality of its ingredients and the fact that it only uses natural fruits, Gabriel Boudier liqueurs can be found in the kitchens of most top Michelin starred ­restaurants and cocktail bars.

In the Crèmes de Fruits range, Gabriel Boudier makes liqueurs of strawberry, peach, raspberry, blackberry and cassis. All of the range can be served on the rocks, in cocktails, diluted with chilled white wine or even poured over ice-cream.

There's one case of six 70cl bottles up for grabs, and five runners-up can also win a book of illustrated recipes using these fruit liqueurs written by Michel Roux of Le Gavroche restaurant in London and two other renowned Michelin chefs.

English wine: a happy harvest for Christmas

All across England and Wales, vineyards are being harvested. Down winding country lanes come armies of welly-wearing conscripts wielding secateurs and buckets, ready to reap the rewards of our vines. Happily they come, their cheeks ruddy with pride. Half an hour later they’re crawling over muddy clods with lacerated hands, drenched in claggy juice and cold sweat, as if ploughing through an endurance race.
