Classic Malts line up with festival

01 June, 2007

Diageo's Classic Malts Selection has linked up with The Outsider Festival.

The three day event will take place on June 22-24 in the Cairngorm National Park and is designed to "celebrate the important relationship between people, nature and the environment in the Highlands", according to a spokesman. The Talisker Stage will feature acts from KT Tunstall, Idlewild, Guillemots and DJ's Zak Zagarelos and Lenny Love.

Nick Carr, global director for the Classic Malts Selection, said: "Classic Malts are delighted to support such an innovative and green focused event in the home of Scotch Whisky. The personality of every one of our Classic Malts is rooted in water, barley, and the air we breathe so our commitment to the environment is embedded in everything we do."
