take-home sales are buoyant despite a slip in on-trade beer sales in the

past financial year, marketing director Peter Jackson has told OLN. Beer Company turnover fell from £41.9 million to £40.2 million but the company said key brands such as Pedigree and Banks's Original outperformed the market. This summer Pedigree drinkers can win a trip to New Zealand with the England cricket team.

Rosé tinted glasses

I was asked recently what I thought the biggest change had been in wine fashion in the past five years. My answer was unequivocal: sales of pink wines. From being a niche that expanded and contracted with the sunshine, rosé has subtly but steadily become a stalwart of many merchants’ ranges, with Provence firmly at the top and asked for by name.
