Bursaries help German wine students

15 June, 2007

The Institute of Masters of Wine and Reh Kendermann have announced the two winners of this year's Reh Kendermann bursaries.

Master of Wine students Anthony Moss, of the WSET, and Dr Craig Johnston, an Australian fine wine consultant, both win a trip to visit a number of German wine producers.

Reh Kendermann's export sales director Alison Flemming MW said: "Germany is a different place to that which it was even 10 years ago, with a new generation of winemakers and an increasing professionalism and commercial awareness on the part of exporting companies .

"We are delighted to be able to offer this opportunity to MW students to come and see for themselves the dynamic and innovative changes that are taking place in the German wine industry."
