Corky's wakes up toáa sellout trend

Global Brands has joined forces with wakeboarding music festival Wakestock to

promote its Corky's vodka liqueurs.

Held in Abersoch,

north Wales on July 20-21, Corky's will be the official shot product at the event, which is set to attract over 20,000 people.

Creative manager Andrew Bond said: "Corky's sold out on the first night at Wakestock last year - we had to

dash to the nearest wholesalers to

restock

. "

Global Brands has relaunched its VK mixed pack.

The revamped packs now

consist of three bottles of VK Blue, two V-Ice, VK Cherry, VK Apple, VK Orange and

one VK Tropical (rrp ú9.99).

Wine is a liquid time capsule. Drinking older vintages not only recalls the weather conditions and winemaking styles of the past, it encourages us to reflect upon our own histories. Such reminiscence often inclines towards romanticised nostalgia. Especially after the second bottle. But looking back is a great way of learning about the future.
