Launch for Diet Coke with bits in

09 August, 2007

Coca-Cola is planning to target health-conscious female consumers this autumn with an addition to the Diet Coke range.

Diet Coke Plus is a sugar-free soft drink with added vitamins and antioxidants .

Cathryn Sleight, marketing director for Coca-Cola Great Britain, said: "We all want to keep healthy, but it's not always easy with today's busy lifestyle.

"Diet Coke Plus offers two great ways to enjoy your favourite Diet Coke break while getting a little bit extra to see you through the day - for women who already love the taste of Diet Coke, Diet Coke Plus gives you even more reasons to enjoy."

The drink went on sale in the US earlier this year. It will be launched in the UK in October and supported by an extensive marketing campaign including television, print and outdoor advertising.
