Take away a DraughtKeg

To celebrate the launch of Heineken's latest marketing campaign, Off Licence News has teamed up with Heineken to offer five lucky readers two Heineken DraughtKegs each.

Heineken DraughtKeg is an easy-to-carry 5-litre keg with an integrated carbon dioxide cartridge that seals the beer from oxygen, keeping it fresh for up to 30 days, and gives drinkers "genuine, premium draught lager anytime, anywhere". The Heineken DraughtKeg is perfect for parties and barbecues, and is set to be a great seller during the Rugby World Cup. It is currently available through Sainsbury's, Threshers and Makro.

During the campaign tour, the Heineken van will be parking up and offering samples to consumers at key locations across the UK including major train stations and shopping centres in London, Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester.

Chris Duffy, customer marketing controller, said: "This campaign has been developed to raise visibility of this innovative new format, to reinforce Heineken's continental credentials and to showcase how interactive and easy the Heineken DraughtKeg is to use. Over the next two months, thousands of consumers will have the chance to try and, importantly, taste the quality of the new Heineken DraughtKeg, and we're confident they'll be seeking out the keg in-store soon."

For a chance to win two Heineken DraughtKegs, just answer the following question:

How many litres of beer does the Heineken DraughtKeg hold?

Send your answer, with your name, address and telephone number, by Sept 7, to: OLN/Heineken competition, c/o Georgi Simpkin, Salt, Park House, 14 Northfields, London SW18 1DD

Welcoming the wine rookie

Itís all true. Wine writers loaf around in a state of partial inebriation and partial undress, bitching about having to taste free wine all day and using recondite words like malolactic, terroir and recondite.†
